Aziraphale and Crowley enjoy a day out in Rome. With a little visit to the emperor's archives, perhaps they also go for a drink and a few oysters. Just a little piece of happiness.

And now for something that has nothing to do with S3 whatsoever.

Fancy some ineffable Romans? Gratuitous oyster eating? Crowley being a mess? Some hurt and comfort and some good old fashioned smut? And a good ol' happy ending?

I bring you Chapter two of Let Me Tempt You after a two year hiatus.

“You sure you want this, angel?”

“You are the original tempter, are you not?”

Aziraphale stared up at Crowley, all wide open, hopeful. 

He had seen the look before; quick drinks turned into sunrises, Aziraphale’s teeth ripping into a rack of ribs, Aziraphale’s eyes woozy from half a bottle of wine, Aziraphale tongue’s licking the last spray of seawater from his lips as his sun-kissed cheeks bloomed under Crowley’s gaze.

Crowley had fought the urge to lead Aziraphale down this path for so long, like Neptune turning the tide, he had pushed with all his might. Instead, he allowed himself tiny temptations to hold in his hands like gemstones; precious, delicate things that sparkled, and shone in the darkness. 

Those small morsels fed him when the cold and lonely days of demonhood weighed too heavy on his shoulders. Crowley’s stomach constricted, like a rope had wrapped itself around his belly.
