That feeling one I can barely describe. It flows through my body the moment I catch a whiff of that specific scent or hear that particular song. It is an inexplicable nostalgia one I still yearn for hours later, missing its sense of warmth and closeness even though this nostalgia stems from a moment I will never experience again. Yet, not every memory grants me this profoundly comforting, safe sense of security. I risk being swallowed up, drifting in a lake of emptiness and numbness, if I lose myself too deeply in this reverie. Otherwise, I risk drowning in the sheer intensity that pulls me ever deeper into an unfathomable abyss. It is precisely in such moments that it becomes vital to cling to the wonderful feelings that keep me afloat to ensure I do not lose the moment itself for sometimes just sometimes I look back on a time when I never gave a second thought to the fact that all of this all these beautiful memories would one day become nothing but pure nostalgia.
