Isis had tried to hide her face behind a newspaper as she watched the TARDIS fade in front of her. She was surprised no one else had seemed to notice it - it was a busy park, but she had seemingly been the only one watching. No, that was a lie. There was the girl who had seemed rather alarmed when she heard it disappear. Isis assumed that she was another of the Doctor’s ‘companions’, as she had found them to be called.
The girl walked over to her and Isis peeked over her newspaper, giving her a small smile. “Hello.” She replied, moving her bag closer to her, assuming the girl wanted to sit down.
Clara sat down next to the woman after she'd moved her purse. "I'm Clara." She held out her hand for the woman to shake.
Guilt and Gallifrey || Open to any Time Ladies
The Doctor stared in astonishment at the girl standing mere feet away from him. This couldn't be possible, how was he meeting her again? The twisting feeling in his stomach he hadn't felt for a long time returned. Gallifrey. It was gone, all his fault. And this girl in front of him was a reminder of that, a reminder that he ruined lives, caused so much pain. Sometimes he felt like a Time Lord lived too long.
She turned around to look at him, and he dropped his gaze, staring at his feet and turning around to leave, his cheeks flushing in the embarrassment of being caught staring. It had been a long time since he'd seen her, probably was just a human who happened to look similar, he was just imagining things, surely?

Clara figured that she should be fairly used to being abandoned by the TARDIS by this point, but when she heard the familiar fworping noise behind her and turned to see the fading police box as it left (without her on it!), she still let out a frustrated sigh. "Guess I'm stuck till the Doctor gets a hold on her once more. Right," she mumbled, a pout on her lips. The young companion perked up considerably when she saw a figure sitting on a nearby park bench. "Hi! Hello!" she called, traipsing over.
