“I heard the news.”

   The Doctor stands at the doorway, a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

 “I’m sorry…I was hoping I could beg your forgiveness.”

if she could turn away from him, she would. but seen as her entire body was borderline paralysed for now, that didn’t seem to be an option. 

“Sorry. I thought…I thought this was my room.”

The much taller male lingers by her doorway, glancing away because she looks like she’s in bad shape. He’s embarrassed to have bothered her at all – she must think him an idiot. But he pulls himself together, crutches and all. “I’ll just…I’ll just go now.”

she’d be out for a LONG WHILE, taking up residence in this hospital  until she was ‘well enough to leave’, which she doubted would be any time soon. however, she wasn’t exactly expecting company. so on seeing the other entering her hospital room, she didn’t make much effort to move. 

Darcen smiles at her and nods his head slightly, almost looking proud. “Good to know you won’t be doing anything stupid, like throw yourself out in front of me for example.” He teases. .

Kale: well me obviously
