I’ve posted about a lot of controversial topics lately. This has left me depleted and in need of recharging. I also want to finish the next workshop session and responding to hateful and violent comments is consuming too much of my time. You may see me post or comment but you also may not. #nofilter So I was outside mowing, cleaning up the yard....it’s hot, I mean FLIPPING hot and that is no way to start doing outside work, for me, I start thinking about everything that’s made me mad these last few months and the people that have hurt me and then I stew and I push harder and eventually end up in a big pile of sweat covered anger. Well, I have to say, that doesn’t help. I’m still angry and the people that hurt me, still don’t care. So what on earth did I just do for myself other than stink?!! A BIG FAT NOTHING! I realized instead, people will hurt you. Ok. People will turn their backs on you and walk away. Ok. And people will judge you. Ok. What do you do with that? Where do you go with that realization? You get up, dust yourself off, put your big girl pants on and say SCREW IT. My husband loves me more than he probably should 😂 My kids, for the most part are happy and healthy. I have a handful of friends that I love and that have been there for me My family that is here for me, has always been. And I’m for the most part, sane. Oh yes and my backyard...never looked better. So for a moment I wallowed in self pity and tried to figure out who to yell at, but then I chose grace and ended it with looking like this.
