Ocean Eyes - Billie Eilish

I’ve been watching you

For some time

Can’t stop staring

At those ocean eyes

It was subtle at first - sneak glances and small touches. Shiro had never realized it before, but months after defending Earth from Sendak, after their fierce battle, Shiro had found himself noticing.

Firm determination to help - to recreate something anew, Lance had put all of himself into rebuilding this home. Pushing himself to the limit to restore what was lost into something more.

You really know how to make me cry

When you gimme those ocean eyes

His heart would squeeze when those eyes turned to him. Making his breath hitch, hoping no one had noticed, before putting on a mask to hide behind.

One would be blind not to notice how Lance matured. Shoulders are broader, chest out and firm, but most importantly how he held himself. Gone was the lad who would shy away whenever someone belittles his intelligence, he now dons that intelligence with confidence. He is no longer someone to be pushed around.

I’m scared

I’ve never fallen from quite this high

Falling into your ocean eyes

Those ocean eyes

He knew his focus should be defending the universe, but he can’t help but find himself staring.

I’ve been walking through

A world gone blind

Can’t stop thinking of your diamond mind

The tides are pulling him down into the unknown depth... He didn’t resist. Letting those ocean eyes swallow him whole. 

I’m scared

I’ve never fallen from quite this high
