This design showcases the full illustration processāfrom clean line art to a colorful flat vector composition. Built with simple geometric shapes and a warm color palette, the coffee stall reflects everyday street life in a modern, minimal style. The balance of structure and softness gives the artwork a friendly, approachable feel.

Iāve been hesitant to share my current personal project because it didnāt seem to align with the context of this page. But the more Iāve explored these tarot cards and their meaning, the more Iāve realized thatĀ thisĀ is exactly the place to share them. āØ
In design school, weāre taught to analyze our processes, dissect briefs, and navigate challenges with a critical lens. But life doesnāt always come with those blueprints. Instead, we learn through trial and error, often relying on default settings to navigate emotions, decisions, and obstacles.
Thatās where tarot comes in. š® Itās a tool for asking open-ended questions and inviting randomness to offer new perspectivesāsomething we often miss when we stick to our usual ways of thinking. Tarot can help us see situations from fresh angles, offer advice, or even validate our decisions and achievements.
Much like in design, this validation and sense of progress is crucial for feeling fulfilled and valued.
Rather than sharing just the final designs, Iāll be posting the processāfrom initial sketches to more developed elements created in Procreate and Illustrator. Each card features recurring natural symbolism and the comedian and mammal :Ā Emo Philips.
It started as a simple one-card exercise (his hair was perfect forĀ The Fool). I enjoyed it so much that I kept goingāand he became the natural face for this project! Iām thrilled with how theyāve come together and would love to get them printed one day.
