sadly, auntie ivy is the primary disciplinarian. zack has the ability to hand out punishments for bad behavior...but the baby's too cute! yeah they can keep playing in the dishwasher, it's okay. ivy is completely in love with them! she's really proud of zack for continuing to provide for the little one, it's a tough job! so she's here to support him through thick and thin! when the baby arrives, carmen can't help but see a part of her younger self in them. she also takes on an aunt role, giving them what she never had growing up. she consistently ensures the troublemaker knows they're loved and cared for. player thinks they're absolutely adorable!! he's frequently seen entertaining the baby on Facetime calls. (sometimes the little one slaps the keyboard/screen and accidentally ends the call but it's okay Because They're Cute) grandpa. shadowsan. idc argue w the wall. /j. he'll grumble around the baby often when they're still new and tiny. "a place for thievery is no place for children." hm. hypocritical? we don't know yet. he can complain all he wants, he's still teaching them how to read while zack makes dinner for everyone. he's also teaching them some Japanese, shhh! even though the HQ is a great spot to stay, it isn't ideal for raising a child. zack rents a small apartment near the older building instead! he'll bring up how he preferred living in Boston frequently. since there's still vile to stop, there are times when the entire gang won't be available to watch over the kiddo :( much to everyone's dismay. carmen knows exactly what to look for in a nanny, so she'll interrogate interview every candidate. "How far away is the moon?" "Umm, why?" "In case they're curious. Answer the question." zack promises to always make up for lost time, even though he's never gone for too long in the first place yes, he is the father that tells tales. his past, racing, the best food he's had, any and everything! especially baseball! "y'shoulda seen it, bug! outta nowhere, the ball just *zwoop* an' BANG! HOMERUN!!!"
he, without a doubt, picks up the kiddo and celebrates with the imaginary crowd he's softly mimicking the screaming for. once they're older, he brings them to real games and races.
a small part of zack wants the kid's first words to be "dada", it would mean a lot to him since he's terrified if he's doing this 'dad' thing correctly. he doesn't have many memories of a good example :(

the joy he'll experience when the little one can begin eating solids is indescribable. there's a world of flavor out there!
the baby won't start crawling until a little later since everyone's always carrying them.
zack, without a doubt, absolutely, and entirely, puts on "baby sensory videos" and then proceeds to get distracted by them himself.
honestly, post-season 4, i don't think he'd join acme with the kiddo in his life. there's already lots of regret with having them surrounded inherently with danger while growing up.
zack definitely gets hit on at your games/recitals/concerts/shows. send help /j.
he's a fun and loving dad that'll be there for his child every step of the way!
