First Conversation:
Ilen: I'm glad you've recovered. Once we find Tamlen, we can concentrate on the journey northward.
Male Hunter: Thank you for the bow, Master Ilen. It is light and sturdy... much better than the one I made last year.
Ilen: You are more than welcome. My father made it and used it in battle against the Clayne tribes.
Male Hunter: I will carry it with honor.
Dialogue Tree:
May I see your crafts, Master Ilen? [1]
Could I ask you for a bow as well, Master Ilen? [2]
I would like to hear the story of your father's battle. [3]
Why would you relinquish such a relic? [4]

1 – May I see your crafts, Master Ilen?
Ilen: Of course. Take whatever you need. [Exit conversation, opens shop window]
2 - Could I ask you for a bow as well, Master Ilen?
Ilen: One of my own crafting, perhaps? Dialogue Options: - Yes. Thank you. >>> Ilen: It may not have a history, but you'll provide one for it soon enough, yes? - No, maybe not. >>> Ilen: Then I will keep my crafts for those who need them. [Return to dialogue tree]
3 - I would like to hear the story of your father's battle.
Ilen: Then I am proud to tell it. Ilen: Our clan was one of the first to flee the Dales. When we came to Ferelden, the fiercest of the shemlen were the barbarians known as the Clayne. Ilen: We didn't wait for them to attack us. Every Dalish clan in Ferelden united to bring the battle to them. Dialogue options: - We attacked them first? >>> Ilen: They were barbarians without honor. They would have slain us without a second thought. - Ha! Serves the humans right! Let them fear us! >>> [Continue conversation] - There are more Dalish clans in Ferelden? >>> Ilen: In Ferelden, in Orlais, wherever there are wild lands the humans cannot hold, we bring our aravels. You met some at the last Gathering. Ilen: The ensuing battle went well for us. That day, we carved out our reputation of being the deadliest archers. Ilen: Our arrows won us the right to wander these woods at will. It was this very bow that my father used that day. Male Hunter: Thank you for the tale, Master Ilen... and especially the bow. I will honor its history. [Return to Dialogue Tree]
4 - Why would you relinquish such a relic?
Ilen: We are all the same clan. His hand is as my hand. I have relinquished nothing. Ilen: It was my father who first spoke of the Vir Tanadhal--the Three Ways of the Hunter. Ilen: The first is the Vir Assan--the Way of the Arrow: to reach for our goal, unrelenting. Ilen: The second is the Vir Bor'assan--the Way of the Bow: to bend, but not to break. Ilen: The last is the Vir Adahlen--the Way of the Wood: we are as ancient as the forests, each tree a part of the greater land. Ilen: All Dalish are united in this: One day we shall have a homeland again. [Return to Dialogue Tree]
