Matured to prefection...

I’m tired of people telling me why I can’t do the things I want to do. I can’t because I’m trans. I can’t because I’m a woman. I can’t because I’m older. I can’t because I’m not skinny enough. I can’t because I’m not tall enough. I can’t because my boobs are too big. I can’t because it goes against God. I can’t because no one will ever love or accept me. . . I can, I have, and I will! . . I have successfully transitioned to my authentic self and am happier than ever before. I have been accepted and loved for who I am. I have walked in fashion shows. I have been a published model in a magazine. I have been signed by a talent agency and booked work. I have been on billboards for an international campaign with a major athletic brand. I have been in commercials. I have been in a movie. I have been in a music video with a major recording artist. I have been visible, authentic, and true and have still found success. . . I have learned to believe in myself and to stop listening to the naysayers. Therefore, I can and will succeed in my other goals and dreams. The only person who can stop me is me and that isn’t happening anymore! If I can, so can you! I still miss her. In a weird way. Of course I knew the friendship was taking a turn for the worst anyway, looking back now. Doesn’t change that I didn’t want it to end though
