Boots came in todayyy. They’re a little big but I’m so happy I don’t wanna take them off. And they’re comfortable as fffuck. While I’m a little bummed I missed the don’t buy them before class or you won’t be reimbursed memo, I’m not too mad bc I needed to replace my old super glued pair anyway. These are just an upgraded indestructible toe version 😂 the soles or something are even partly made from recycled bottles It’s going to be hard. I hold on to shoes like no other. And me and those super glued talkers went through the hardest part of my life together. But they led me here, and while it ain’t the best place to be in life that I am, I can honestly say I am in the right place of growth to finally build strong foundation for myself. This class has been the best damn opportunity, and every day I’m shown more reasons why. Ramble later I need to get organized. Thankful it’s “Friday”. Therapy in the am and then I can leisurely but in a hurry get my shit together at whim this weekend 😮💨

I don't normally post myself on here, but I found an old picture that made me realize how far I'd come, not only with my physical health, but my overall well being too. There's a 3 to 4 year difference between these photos and so much has changed. But all for the better. There's been ups and downs, but I am so damn proud of myself for the progress I've made 💜

Well, today was a good day to get a new leg… sort of. 😂 Getting fitted for my prosthetic leg was quite the process. And you’ll see just how “confident” I was with my new leg. All in all, I’m so grateful to be able to walk again.
