it was a silent walk, monoma fuming inside of his head. you allowed yourself to be dragged along the side of the school until he came to an abrupt stop, you bumping into his chest lightly.

“he’s been trying to get with you since first year, you know,” monoma’s eyes focused on yours, “i didn’t like how he was looking at you, nonetheless touching you-”

a soft giggle broke through his speech, “oh, you’re jealous!” you smiled up at him.

“i-no! not jealous! look at me, do i look like i get jealous? never! hey-stop laughing!” monoma’s jealous persona quickly turned into a whiney pout, “i worry, you know!”

“you dummy,” you pushed his shoulder lightly. “either way, you’re not my boyfriend.”

monoma could’ve confessed on the spot, told you how in love he was with you. how he wanted to ask you out days before bakugou did. how it could’ve been the two of you getting married after graduating from u.a.

“he’s a brat,” monoma scoffed.

you rolled your eyes, fighting back a smile, “you are, too.”

an exasperated sigh escaped monoma’s lips, smiling at you after he was done with his dramatic scene, “go find your ugly boyfr-ow!”
