It's so strange seeing Facebook memories for things that I previously posted. I tend to think back to the past as better than life is now but then I see these and laugh because I was absolutely miserable when I was with my ex. He made my life absolutely insane and horrible. Yeah there were good times but the bad far outweighed the good. Looking back on it I am still "lucky" I'm lucky for knowing the capacity I have for love, to love unconditionally and I am lucky I now know what I know about my own strength. I remember how much I had to hide and how exhausting it was. How I would hurt myself because of this 300 pound weight I had on my back. I'm not writing this for sympathy or whatever. I'm just writing this for myself.
