That way we wouldn't worry so much about everything.

We might even forget about housing & feeding the sick & the poor.

Especially, since we'd be the ones who are these sick & poor folks!

And, poor & sick people have no need for medications, food or books to read...

I think I made him cry. Shit. That’s not what I-

She sighed. God. She was so stupid. He only wanted her to understand, and she had only thrown it right back at him and spit in his face.

“Sam?” she said through the closed door, “Sammie?” Not a peep. Only a quiet sniffle.

“Look, man, I’m sorry. I-” She shook her head. “Look, it’s cool. Whatever you think, what you believe about yourself. It’s cool.” Her voice had become a murmur by now. “I’m sorry. About what I said. I didn’t mean it. I just- I just said it in the heat of the moment, dude.” She bit her lip and continued, “We’re all stressed, Babe. The world is different now. We gotta be smart about all this. So we can survive, ya know?” She waited for some sort of response, any at all, but all she got was silence.

“So I’m sorry. I- I don’t think such horrible things about you, Babe. I don’t. I swear.”

She then suddenly hear another sniffle. “Promise you won’t be a total douche again?”

She chuckled, but replied all the same. “Sorry, man. Don’t make promises you probably can’t keep and all that.”

He softly laughed in return.

“Yeah. Right.”

“We good?”

Whoever told me that the ring finger was directly connected to the heart (which is why its the marriage finger) LIED. 

I had blood pressure taken and i asked why they put it on the middle finger because the ring finger was directly connected to the heart.

They started laughing, because apparently 'ALL FINGERS ARE CONNECTED TO THE HEART'. 

A NURSE WITH A DIFFERENT PATIENT (ROOM SEPARATED BY A BLUE PAPER SHEET) STARTED LAUGHIN.
