In honor of #nationalfriedchickenday I decided to hop back in the kitchen. Buttermilk fried chicken, truffle smoked Gouda mac and cheese, and maple braised collard greens with a little maple hot sauce.

It’s June and I should be near a body of water, but I’m not so this will have to do. Blackened red snapper topped with crab and crawfish cream sauce served over a bed of garlic fume shrimp and mushroom risotto with some roasted garlic Parmesan asparagus.

Late post: Tuesday’s are for tacos. Asian pork belly tacos with apple jalapeño jicama slaw and mango watermelon salsa accompanied by coconut cilantro lime rice and roasted brussel sprouts in plum sauce.
