All of the SFOTH can go 'feral' not just Venomshank.

In this concept offerings work like meals. They provide the energy needed for the SFOTH to preform their duties.

This need for offerings is what drives the SFOTH to create Inphernals.

Long stretches of time without offerings can leave a deity starving.

What kinds of gods get the least amount of offerings? Ones that involve death, making Venomshank and Ghostwalker the ones to get the least amount of offerings out of all their siblings.

We all know Venomshank's... propensity to go 'feral' as well as the headcannon some people share of him having previously eaten mortals.

What better sustenance is there than the very beings you created to worship you?

This idea came to me when I was first thinking about uncanny SFOTH. The concept of a starving Icedagger having gone feral after being sealed away for so long made me excited.

The lore. THE ANGST!!! Imagine this:

Your youngest brother has been missing for ages and part of you thinks he's dead. You resent your other siblings for giving up on him but also resent yourself for not being strong enough to find him.

All of the SFOTH give off HEAVY uncanny valley vibes.

I'm pointing this specifically at Icedagger.

A god who looks small and weak but you can feel the power that radiates off them. Their teeth are a bit too sharp... their eyes glow in the dark. Their skin is a bit too pale, parts of their body have turned turned black and hard, as if facing severe frostbite. A distinct feeling of cold follows the god, chilling whatever room they are in.

This feeling is made only worse if Icedagger was sealed for ages. A god with outdated views on how Inphernals interact with one another that is a little too eager to learn about this 'new' version of the world they once knew.

Something about him is wilder than the other SFOTH. The other gods who have had more time to restrain themselves together in an effort to be less... 'unsettling'.

There are like two ways this au could go.

Both Aus have Icedagger being a founder/supporter of early-day Blackrock.

Path 1 (The original idea): Icedagger is relatively innocent; he doesn't abuse his followers, deeply caring for them and giving them blessings. (His followers were the demons who founded Blackrock) One day, when small wars between factions were common, Iedagger ended up getting sealed trying to protect his small group of followers. He did this by turning the Blackrock region into the Arctic-like region it is today. His followers are thus forced to fend for themselves, having lost their deity. Offerings are regularly put before the ice encasing him, but they are unable to get him out.

Over time, they grow, slowly resembling the Blackrock we know. A lot of their motifs go back to Icedagger. Their drive for improvement causes them to start experimenting with the sealed Icedagger. (If the populous found out, they would become agitated since Blackrock uses him to justify their actions as he's a core part of their culture)

These experiments drain the seal's energy, freeing Icedagger...

Now that Blackrock has its dearly beloved god back, what will happen when the other swords try to take him away?

Path 2 (Th Ice Garden AU): Everything is relatively the same as Path 1, but rather than being sealed, Icedagger creates a giant ice dome, enclosing his followers to keep them "safe".

Over time, the isolation also reaches Icedagger, twisting his wish to keep his followers safe into something darker.

His followers, unaware of this, begin to grow and flourish, their children being taught that they are safe within the dome. It is heavily discouraged to try leaving Blackrock due to exposure and the "monsters" outside.

Ghostwalker, Darkheart and Illumina are 6ft.

Windforce is 7ft.

Firebrand and Venomshank are 8ft.

These sizes are dependant on the size of the swords they originate from.
