generally i do wonder just how much of a reliable narrator venomshank is about his own mental state when he enters the "feral mode".
perhaps i am too influenced by fandom depictions of venomshank. it is just, the general vibe i got is that venomshank in that state of mind would be rather mindless.
but in the comic, he is not. yes, he does growl, snarl, and does not speak. but that does not make him mindless. he seems very direction oriented. first to protect sword from windforce, and then to fight windforce, being able to call upon the zombie army. and windforce considers this an inconvenience.
im just. hey i dont think how venomshank in his "feral mode" should be depicted as a ravenous beast without reason. venomshank does not remember to accurately describe his own behavior, his behavior is likely described to him by people who see it as an inconvenience at best and terrifying monstrosity at worst, and we see in the comic that he is capable of thinking enough to hold his own against windforce and her army.
