listen..don't pay attention to the technicalities of the ages but i do realize that our boys are basically dilfs oop-
no but they do realize that she's messed up in the mind and that's due to trauma. they obviously don't know the root of it but our boys are starting to see her spiraling out of control is because of the things she's gone through. i think they understand at this point that the only reason she's on this whole revenge arc is because those people on her list have done her harm.
leehyun for example -- and that arc was a lot to take it in with y/n breaking right before their eyes.
but just like how it is with them and their traumas, they're not going to force her to give them an answer to what's going on. partly because they probably know they aren't in their rights to do so, that they don't deserve the truth just yet, and because they'd rather not force a person with trauma to reveal something they don't wish to reveal.
the members all have their own taste with trauma and bad people in this world so they can understand to a certain extent that y/n's been through a lot. it's because they're at a more mature age that they know not to push y/n past her boundaries. if she doesn't want them to know something, they're not going to force it out of her.
that's the route i want cmar to go with, not that going behind her back and finding out her truth through their own actions or figuring out what happened through their research and investigation. they're not going to figure anything out on their own and they don't want to because they understand, to a certain extent, that finding out the truth of someone's past is only best through the words of that person.
only once they've gain her trust, if they gain it, will they know everything. but until then, they have no need to investigate into y/n's past when it's unwanted on her end. y/n would hate them if they found out on their own, and because they know that, they aren't going to actively search for the truth.
