It's always a moment of elation when I'm listening to a musical's soundtrack while reading fanfics for said musical and the song lyrics line up with words written. It's always great. It's especially great when the characters are breaking up in the musical but the fanfic is paralleling the scene with making up. Hahahahaha. //dejected laughter// or vice versa. WHICH HURTS MORE.
My job sucks so hard and nobody knows what theyre doing and everyone is so scared of making a mistake that like 80% of whats happening is people dodging stuff and passing it on to other people because nobbooddddyyyy wants to get in trouble!
And its disability aids! Like fuck man you people need to get your shit together. Make a mistake and fucking accept it but like seriously just do some shit. Omg. I hate it here. Isn't it better to try to do something and get it wrong than to not try and avoid and live in fear and shame and laziness.
This is the thing. You think people with serious jobs and training and degrees know what theyre doing. But at least half of the don't. And its only going to get worse now that people will try to wriggle their way out of proper training with AI.
Then again we're still using systems from 2009 so maybe it'll take so long to catch up on the AI front that humanity will have killed itself by then.
