Normally Scorpion would have shown up late to this late, it was his thing. A rebel, even in Hell! But the fact that the big boss Lucifer had called for him took the ‘showing up late’ bit off the list. Had it been the Ticket Master, he would’ve shown up very late, but for Lucifer, the little demon was 3 minutes early. Better early then skinned alive because you weren’t there on the dot.

He shuffles impatiently. 3 minutes didn’t seem like a long time, but when you want time to pass quickly, it was. The greaser leans against the wooden wall and sighs.

“My child, aren’t you impatient?” The voice makes him jump. The Scorpion laughs and brushes off his jacket. “You show up late but despise it when others do it, pretty funny, isn’t it?”
