Hyasinth's scary faces that he's making on the sprite sheet above are Dependant on how much of his hypnotic gas you've breathed in
He's not really scary at all in fact unless you've inhaled said gas
His battle arena has different states depending on how much of the gas you've breathed in during his battle but don't worry, the you should start losing the effects after a while.
When you think you've spared hyasinth by capturing one of his arms, he proves to you that this is going to have to be a fight to the death by cutting off his own arm, in his mind him losing an arm is a nobel sacrifice to "free" another darkener,
That's the actual scary thing about hyasinth, he thinks everything he's doing is right and justified as he believes he's "freeing" the other darkeners by killing them and that he's the one who has a cruel fate of gifting others the "freedom" that he cannot have for himself until his job is done
He's a darkener that has to die for the sake of others but that's really hard for Ralsei to accept, and for a while in the battle you wont have the option to even try to fight him because ralsei doesn't want to really even harm this guy as ralsei see's him as a good person who's severely misguided by his own philosophy
