ok so fair warning this is the first fanart I’ve ever made so I know it’s not the best. Anyway it’s supposed to be little Percy hugging Lee for the first time. I made this is for seriously one of the best fics I’ve ever read by @diaskedasilexis the title is You’re a Demigod Percy on ao3

Lee was kinda close with Luke and Charlie mostly hanged around them both

They were disappointed

Charlie doesn't understand why or how Luke could do that

Lee understand it and if it weren't for his siblings he would consider joining

But at the end of the day Lee is a bit more realistic than Luke (who got very emotional and manipulated) and if push comes to shove would see that Kronos was the worst option.

But yea he hates the gods. Well not hate but he doesn't really care about them and can see it's the same the other way around.

And living at camp and being head counsellor just doesn't make it any better

Charlie is somewhat aware of his stance. Since if the topic of Luke comes up, Lee doesn't offer or talk a lot.

Camp for Charlie is somewhere he can finally belong. He found his people.

For Lee who's outgoing and can make friends with everyone, it isn't that different.

Sure he found his siblings and made good friends. But because it's nothing out of the ordinary for him, he can see through the cracks and see that camp isn't really all that.

Maybe that's why he doesn't like the gods all that much.

They made one safe heaven for them which you have to risk your life reaching .

You train and train and year rounders don't even get a standard education which makes getting into college hell for them.

And what of those demigods who live far away. Who live a whole country apart. What should they do?

Those are SOME of the things always racking Lee's mind especially since he is also close to leaving for college.

Oshiro did confirm will was thinking about micheal in that one scene and I hope that if the rumors of a third book are true, we get so see more of Will's healing journey

He's always seems too busy with the infirmary and after all the wars and quest its clear he never has time to process or heal from the trauma he's faced since then

I read a fic that headcanoned his fatal flaw to be rage or empathy, ill have to go look for it. I believe it was When We Were Infinite by night_owl_things on ao3 but I could be wrong.

Thats to say, i wish we could focus more on wills thoughts and emotions considering how washed out he is in fanon (and even canon as of late from what ive seen) see the effects his darker powers have on him or the people he's lost during the war?

Im not sure, I think im ranting atp, this drawing is a continuation of my armbands headcanon but its kinda old.

I'm getting some things sorted out I think, so that's something. I've been confused a lot lately, but I'm working through it.

Charlie, at camp, works on his projects alone. He's always willing to teach his siblings but for his solo stuff he prefers doing it alone.

But he is always sharing every step with Lee and implementing any idea Lee gives. And if he gets stuck somewhere, he comes to Lee for help.

They usually end up solving it together.

Lee is chill. He doesn't want credit or anything. Even ask Charlie not to mention to him that he was just suggesting stuff.

Lee has rejected many "friend groups" because they only wanted him around and not Charlie.

One comes with the other. No other way. Take it or leave.

They are actually not year rounders but they both have gotten close to their siblings and most Christmas have been able to convince their moms to let them stay a few days

They know how much their siblings look up to them and want to do as much as they can for them. Including giving them the best Christmas

They both aren't really the DIY kind but on a budget for every Christmas they sit and rack their brains to come up with gifts for their siblings

They both became the head counsellor around the same time. They were very young

But were able to lean on each other and figure out what to do.

They exchanged what happened at the end of the day and tried to come up with solutions for each other.
