The basement of the Case-Dvoor Farmhouse at the Dvoor Farmstead in Flemington, NJ. Originally owned by William Penn, the property was sold to Johan Philip Kaes (later Anglicized to Kase and then Kase) in 1738. The stone farmhouse was constructed in 1798 and the land served as farmland for over 200 years. In the 1930s, the Dvoor Bros. Minebrook Stock Farm opened and was run by family members until the 1990s. In 1999, the farmland was preserved and is now maintained by the @hunterdonlandtrust. #nj #njhistory #SpreadTheHistory #historygirl #history #travelblog #travelblogger #blogger #blog #history #ushistory #americanhistory #explorenj #njspots #jerseycollective #journeythroughjersey #archi_ologie #architecture #hunterdoncountynj #flemington #flemingtonnj #dvoorfarm #hunterdonlandtrust #brickporn #basement #interiorthursdays (at Hunterdon Land Trust) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1KlAQBnfHG/?igshid=1gwen7cey2rr5
