The Asbury Park Casino Arcade in Asbury Park, #NewJersey, looking from the Ocean Grove side. The former casino building (which was located to the right), now demolished, was built in 1929. A #clock from the auditorium of Tuckerton High School on display at the Tuckerton Historical Society Museum, which is located in the former Giffordtown Schoolhouse in Little Egg Harbor, #NewJersey. In 1979, Pinelands Regional High School was built, replacing the old high school building. It is now Tuckerton Elementary School. The Giffordtown Schoolhouse was originally located in Tuckerton and built circa 1884 as a one-room school. It was later enlarged to two rooms. The school operated until 1951. In June 1977, the building was moved to Little Egg Harbor to save it from demolition. The Village is a collection of original, replica, and reconstructed 18th and 19th century vernacular structures. They were moved to the site in the 1970s and early 1980s to preserve them from demolition from across central New Jersey. The buildings from left to right are: Vanderveer House (Bedminster Township, 1745), Smalleytown Schoolhouse (Warren Township, circa mid-1800s), Six Mile Run House (rear circa 1760; front circa 1820), and Williamson Wheelwright/Blacksmith Shop (Franklin Township, late 18th century). #OnThisDay, March 2, 1933, @morristownnps was authorized and became America's first National Historical Park. Today, the park is composed of three units: Jockey Hollow (encampment site of the Continental Army from October 1779 - June, 1780), the Ford Mansion (the headquarters of George Washington from December 1779 – May 1780), and Fort Nonsense. Jockey Hollow also includes the Wick House and Cross Estate.
