A snowy winter scene at East Jersey Old Town Village in Johnson Park, Piscataway, #NewJersey. The Village is a collection of original, replica, and reconstructed 18th and 19th century vernacular structures. They were moved to the site in the 1970s and early 1980s to preserve them from demolition from across central New Jersey. The buildings from left to right are: Vanderveer House (Bedminster Township, 1745), Smalleytown Schoolhouse (Warren Township, circa mid-1800s), Six Mile Run House (rear circa 1760; front circa 1820), and Williamson Wheelwright/Blacksmith Shop (Franklin Township, late 18th century). The Village is part of the Crossroads of the American Revolution National Heritage Area. #nj #njhistory#piscataway #piscatawaynj #historygirl #SpreadTheHistory #architecture #archi_ologie #oldhouselove #travelblog #travelblogger #blogger #blog #americanhistory #ushistory #thisisnj #jerseycollective #igersnj #njspots #journeythroughjersey #visitnj #middlesexcountynj #snow #winter #eastjerseyoldtown #johnsonpark #ejot #raritanvalley (at East Jersey Olde Towne Village) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bum8dqdHUT-/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=coz644ng9vmj
