I feel like the full understanding of peace lies between grasping the balanced relationship between happiness and selfishness/selflessness. Anything else leads to disappointment.

While I think there is more derision than ever in our country and leaders that perpetuate violence, the one thing we can hold to is each and every one of us can be the change we wish to see in the world. Start inward and more outward. Don't think what can I do, just do something. Be kind, teach your children kindness, be proactive, make the world a better place.
