I almost titled this video, "A Golden Opportunity." :)

I spent the morning in Golden, Colorado, talking with a potential new client. In addition to show you some of the charming sites of this Colorado town, I share an important networking secret: the power of 2nd and 3rd connections in your network.

I got this client meeting through a friend of mine. My friend doesn't need my business services as a video editor. But her boss at her workplace, DOES! I wouldn't have met this woman if it wasn't for my friend. And if I had never told my friend what I do with my business, my friend never would have shared that information with her boss.

So many of us are afraid to share with other what we do so we disqualify people who might just have the network beyond us to help us achieve what we want. Don't make that mistake.

I shot this video entirely on my OnePlus 5 and edited it on the same phone with Adobe Premiere Clip. The title inserts were created in Premiere Pro and imported into my phone to edit into this (and more) videos.
