Today’s horoscopy:

Magic is strongest in the world’s most ancient places. It can be found and harnessed in its purest form atop the highest mountains, in the wildest woods, and in the deepest caves. It is no small task to get to these places, but if one should brave the journey they will be rewarded with power like they have never wielded before. Some spells are so strong they can only be cast in places such as these.

They will feel like they can achieve anything, as long as they're together. This is one of the most tender and adoring couples in the entire zodiac and their friends and relatives will admire what these two share together. It's very rare that this sort of love comes along and when these individuals fall in love, it's usually forever.

Cancer man is possessive of his Pisces woman because he wants to do everything for her. He wants to be the one who makes her happy, and he wants to be the one who takes care of her. He's very traditional in the sense that will view it as his responsibility to see that she has everything she needs and he will always put her first.

A/N- Named horoscopy because thats a real world I saw on thesaurus.com and it sounds like the title of an abc family (pre rebranding) sitcom about three modern witches so it had to be the title of my new series XD.

Aurelia tilted her head back and enjoyed the ambiance of the world around her. Kaia and Lyra relaxing nearby underneath the soft light of the string lights and white round paper lanterns hanging overhead, undisturbed by insects because of the enchantment she’d laid on Lyra’s porch. Kaia swung gently on the hammock across from her, practically being consumed by the many pillows and giant knit blanket she was cuddling, while Lyra reclined under a mass of  pale pink faux fur, hands gripping an enormous mug of hot chocolate. 

The natural sounds of the world around them were intermingled with the sounds of the supernatural, naiads whispered in the woods nearby while the water nymphs warmed up their voices for their summer solstice ceremony. Quiet popping and crackling pattered against the background as Kaia idly produced small flares and sparks while she watched the sky for shooting stars.

Lyra put her hot chocolate down and turned her head away from Aurelia, giving her a good look at the three braids that traced the shape of her skull, wrapped with colorful twine that showed off her pointy ear.

“Lyra, will you braid my hair?” Aurelia asked. Lyra turned back to her and smiled.

“Sure!” She sat up and adjusted her fur blanket. “Come over here.” Aurelia wrapped herself up in her own giant knit blanket and sat down in front of her. Kaia threw her Aurelia one of the pillows that had been trying to consume her and Aurelia tucked it underneath herself.

“What kind of braids do you want?”

“Like yours!”

“Alright, turn around.”

Aurelia turned to the side and Lyra got to work, her calloused fingers parting Aurelia’s hair into three sections then tucked two away. She seperated the remaining part into three and began working it into a simple french braid.

“Where did you learn to do that?” Kaia asked, looking away from the stars to watch Lyra work.

“Youtube,” she replied simply. “I saw a character on TV with her hair like this and decided to learn to do it myself.”

“I should have known,” Kaia replied, grinning. Lyra finished the first braid and tied it off with a tiny elastic, then moved onto the next section.

“Aurelia, I have rose bushes out front, can you summon three long vines?” The witch snapped her fingers, then opened her hand to reveal three vines curled on her palm.

“Long enough?”

“Not quite, Kaia?” The fae kissed her fingers and blew it towards the other women, magic shimmered through the air; the vines tripled in length when it settled on them.

“Thanks, love.” She finished up the third braid and took the vines from Aurelia and began weaving them into her hair.

There were several inches extra once she finished wrapping the braids in vines, so she produced a knife seemingly out of nowhere and severed the excess before stowing it away again. The other two women had long since given up on trying to figure out where she hid them.

Lyra traced her fingers down the braids, whispered a few words in the elven language, and the vines sprang to life under her fingertips, sprouting several dozen lovely pink rose buds.

“Finished!” She declared proudly.

“It’s beautiful!” Kaia said. Aurelia snapped her fingers and Lyra’s handheld mirror and turned her head to better observe her new look.

“I love it! I wish I could do that!”

“I could send you the tutorial I watched.”

“Send it to me too!” Kaia interjected. “Oh look, a shooting star!” Aurelia and Lyra’s eyes followed Kaia’s pointing finger to the sky and awed in appreciation.
