I just built some Hormagaunts from my pile of shame.
After building the last of the old ones I had I built some new ones.
The difference is like night and day! The new ones are so much more detailed! They look cooler with their more dynamic and varied poses and are plainly more fun to build.

Finally finished painting and basing all the Tyranid hormagaunts. I'm very happy with how these turned out, I'm particularly proud of the colour scheme.
Like most mini painters I have a backlog. I keep a box of minis I’ve assembled and undercoated. The contents of the box grows and shrinks depending on how much I paint and assemble. A lot of it it are the tyranids I stripped. I wanted to make a big dent, so I decided to paint all the genestealers. I also had some hormagaunts left over from the last batch. So I began to batch paint all of them.
I think I overdid it. I never got bored, but I became sloppy at the end.
