horizontals, london, april 4th.
visited the only arab bookshop in london. they offered us tea and whilst we sat on the floor and read through the pile of books. i truly will never get over how quickly the feeling of home rushes over me as soon as i have tea. thank you Abu Saleh
i was transported to sitting on the floor in my grandma's old living room, when they still collected newspapers, and when i would listen to my grandpa speak as if he was a lecturer to nobody but himself. i would never really understand, but i liked his big words, and his hyper-specific arabic analogies.
