A bunch of gods' best attributes
„… and with them was lord Agamemnon — his eyes and head like Zeus who hurls the thunderbolt, his girth like Ares, his chest like Poseidon's.” (Homer, Iliad 2.477–9)
„You have the beauty of Cypris, the mouth of Peitho, the form and freshness of the springtime Hours, the voice of Calliope, the mind and temperance of Themis, the hands of Athena. With you, Phile, the Graces are four.” (Greek Anthology 5.70)
„You have Hera’s eyes, o Melite, and Athena’s hands, the breasts of Paphian Aphrodite, and Thetis’ ankles. Happy is the one who gazes upon you; thrice blessed is he who listens to you; a demigod is he who kisses you; an immortal god, he who marries you!” (Greek Anthology 5.94)
The Childhood of Ares
Felt like folks might appreciate another one of my heavily-sources posts on the gods. Finally did one on Ares.
Focuses on his childhood in being raised by the Horae (especially justified Dike and peaceful Eireine), Thero the Beastwoman, and Priapus Dactylus.
Libation to Horai Seasonal Praise
Eiar, spring, fair daughter of Zeus and Themis I honor you. Blooming flowers and pouring rains are of you. O Eiar of the natural cycle I pour this [liquid] out to you. Khaire!
Theros, summer, fair daughter of Zeus and Themis I honor you. Heat and harvest are of you. O Theros of the natural cycle I pour this [liquid] out to you. Khaire!
Phthinophôron, autumn, fair daughter of Zeus and Themis I honor you. Falling leaves and darkening days are of you. O Theros of the natural cycle I pour this [liquid] out to you. Khaire!
Kheimôn, winter, fair daughter of Zeus and Themis I honor you. Cold and snow are of you. O Kheimôn of the natural cycle I pour this [liquid] out to you. Khaire!

Notes
This isn't meant to be said all at once, my intent was to say the one that is the current season
This was written for my climate in New England, US. You may have to change "x and y are of you" for your local climate.
There are many other Horai this is specifically for the seasons (I didn't forget the others!)
_ _. Lady Carpo
word-forming element meaning "fruit," from Latinized form of Greek karpos "fruit," from PIE root *kerp- "to gather, pluck, harvest."
Overview
KARPO (Carpo) was the goddess of the fruits of the earth. She was numbered amongst the Horai (Seasons). Karpo was worshipped in Athens alongside the goddesses Auxo (Growth) and Hegemone (Leader). Karpo (Fruiting) was probably originally just a title of Demeter as the goddess of the earth's fruits, just as Auxo (Growth) was a title of Persephone as the goddess of spring growth, and Hegemone (Leader) was a title of Artemis or Hekate as leader of the processions the Mysteries.
Goddess of
fruits of the earth, Autumn, harvest, order of time and nature, ripening and harvesting of produce, food, protector of the harvest, protector of agriculture, and protector of new deities
Art
Beyond Carpo's role and appearance in sculptures — as a beautiful young woman in robes — there's no other information about her. . She was typically depicted as bearing grapes or other fruits of the harvest.
Worship
Like her sisters, she was worshipped in Athens, it was also believed she was just an epithet of Demeter. The Horae (Thallo and Carpo) were worshipped at Athens, and their temple there also contained an altar of Dionysus Orthus (Athen. i. p. 38; comp. xiv. p. 656; Hesych. s.v. hôraia); they were likewise worshipped at Argos (Paus. ii. 20. § 4), Corinth, and Olympia(v. 15. § 3).
Offerings
Fruits, baskets, grapes, olives, and traditional offerings
Devotional acts
Harvesting, gardening, going outside, worshipping them, and honoring her
Symbolisms
Fruits, grapes, autumn, and baskets
Notes
- Ancient Greeks initially recognized only three seasons – Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Thus, initially, only three Horae represented the seasons of the year, as well as the stage of plant growth that marked off and measured each season
- They were closely associated with the Graces, the Fates, and the goddess Aphrodite and guarded the gates of Olympus. They were considered benevolent and kind, often bringing good things to the gods and humankind, and were connected to everything good and beautiful in nature

Pyanepsia
~ 7 Pyanepsion ~
Pyanepsia celebrated Apollon and Theseus, connected to his Labours. When defeating the Minotaur, Theseus promised to honor Apollon if he could aid in defeating the Minotaur. Once he did, it is said Theseus established Pyanepsia. This celebration was continued on by Theseus' cult.
Apollon was seen as a giver of agriculture in this status, tied along to with Helios and the Horai, who were also worshipped this day. Both the divine law Horai and the seasonal Horai were celebrated.
The day centered around panspermia, a mixture of beans, wheat and seeds that was connected to Theseus. Public feasting would also be a large part of this day regarding the panspermia.
Young boys also proceeded eiresione, an olive branch bound in white/purple wool with seasonal fruit/honey jars/pastries hanging from it, during Pyanepsia. This represented the agricultural abundance of the day. The eiresione was said to be a thanks offering to the gods, along with a protection against evil in the future. The eiresione proceeded was the hung at the entrance of Apollon's temple with a chant. Smaller eiresiones would be left at households as well . The branch would then be replaced at next years Pyanepsia.
Pyanepsia was connected to Thargelia as another agricultural festival worshipping Apollon.
