Die Hoppetosse schipperte Ende der 20er Jahre als eines der größten und luxuriösesten Passagierschiffe über die Nordsee, heute ist sie ausschließlich Event-Schiff. Die Hoppetosse ist kein öffentliches Restaurant mehr. Die Hoppetosse kann lediglich als Eventlocation gebucht werden. Das Catering übernimmt das Team vom Club der Visionäre, der gegenüber der Arena Treptow liegt, die die Hoppetosse zuvor betrieben hat. Über die Molecule Man hatte ich bereits geschrieben. Die MS Hoppetosse war das Reggaeschiff und einmalig wie kein anderer Ort. „Hoppetosse Fire, Hoppetosse Flame“ Im Frühjahr 2002 begannen die Grooving Smokers mit den Residents Selecta G, Winjy Lion, Traffic Light Sound, Vido Jelashe uvm. die Hoppetosse für das Feiervolk zu beleben. Das Schiff war nicht nur Partylocation sondern auch ein schwimmendes Restaurant. Die Reggae Massive war bereit für Reggae outta Germany und mit „Dickes B“ von SEEED gab es die Berlin Hymne, die in der ganzen Welt bekannt wurde. Berlin war aus dem Dornröschenschlaf erwacht. War eine super Zeit :)
