my brain is absolute garbage okay. i spent a month reading the first part of the fellowship of the ring then decided i needed to start it again so i did and spent a week reading it until i finished. so, naturally i started the two towers as it's the second book only for me to take a week off reading it and my brain to decide it needs to start over because it wasn't satisfied with the way i read it before. tl

the only reason why i ever opened the return of the king is so that i could read the annexures at the end.

first single i ever bought: oddly enough i don't go out of my way to buy many singles (at least 7 inch ones anyways) because it is a different very dangerous collecting rabbit hole (LOL) but i can't remember the first one i actually went out of my way to buy.........i certainly had 45s before i bought this one but one that i vaguely remember picking up on sale was an against me! record store day release of "stabitha christie" backed with "first high of the morning"

artist/band whose records i buy the most: i am a semi-completionist in that i have the entire original discographies of only a few artists (phil ochs, joni mitchell, and the monkees are the only ones that are complete; slowly working on leonard cohen, jessica pratt, mac demarco, and talking heads) but i don't go out of my way to buy every compilation or limited release since they often end up being redundant in my collection.
