So this is for the @voltronsecretsanta2k19, so a late happy holidays to @puddingmcmuffin! Sorry this isnât as fluffy as it is angsty, but I found it pretty hard to write for the zarkon/honvera pairing. I hope itâs to your liking!
Title: Time Moves on WIthout Me
Rating: T
Relationships: Past Zarkon/Honerva
Characters: Zarkon, Haggar, Lotor (mentioned), Honerva (mentioned)
Summary: Zarkon is feeling unusually reflective of how times have changed his people during the holiday period. Haggar tries to help.
Theory time. Who I think this Altean is, and what her role in the new season will be.
My theory is this Altean will be both the VLD version of Corral and Garrett.
Corral was a character from VDOTU. She was infatuated/in love with Lotor. Garrett was an Arusian who saved Allura, befriend the paladins. But Garrett later turned out to be a spy for Hagger.
So what does it all mean? I believe that Corral (the Altean from the end of season seven) will spin one of two stories to the paladins.
One) that Lotor has returned and is draining quintessence from Alteans, faster than ever, to build a mecha army. She escaped in one of the mecha and begs the paladins to help her.Â
Two) When Lotor didnât return the Alteans went searching for him. Discovered the quintessence draining facility. Realized that he wasnât the great leader they thought he was and left. Now they have rebuilt their cavillation and are doing great, and she invite the paladins to see new Altea.Â
Because of Alluraâs Altean first and Alteans can do no wrong mind set. Team Voltron and the Garrison will ether.Â
Bring a hung number of Alteans to Earth as refuges.
Leave Earth to rescue the colonists.
Go to new Altea so Allura can see more of her own people again and recruit them in to the coalition.
This is when Corral will spring her true colors on the paladins. Just like the original Garrett from VDOTU.Â
Reviling that she was a plant by Honerva. Sent in to gain their trust.Â
Mislead them into opening their doors for an invasion.
Lead them into a trap. Leaving Earth defenseless and open for invasion.
As well as revile that Corral like the rest of the Alteans was absolutely in love with Lotor and wanted revenge for his disappearances. Â
Look the only thing I'm looking forward for the lat season is Hagverva, Lotor, Allura, Lotura, kotor backstory and the colony Alteans. I just want the main focus on them, they are pretty much the main reasons why I'm kind of excited for it. Please, please kept Keith on the back burner, like I said, I like him, he's one my favs, but I don't want him stealing the spotlight from what essentially is the focus is on the five things stated above. Keith hasn't nothing to do with haggar, or the alteans.

Oh, would it be okay to jump into your inbox regarding your last reblog? Because to jump off what you said re: Oriandeâs morality, I mean, would necromancy technically count as âlife-givingâ? Because with her work being what was ultimately responsible for her and Zarkonâs initial rise from the dead in Alforâs time, I would call her a necromancer of sorts. Let alone whatever goes on behind the scenes with her druids and robobeasts.
I donât mind jumping into my inbox at all! Thank you!
Within the context of blue-orange morality, necromancy absolutely counts as âlife-giving.â Since the horror concepts obfuscated by occult/mystical science themes are all over the place in this show, then using necromancy concepts for Honerva/Haggar works as sheâs already on the dark side of âmedicinal alchemy,â which in turn lends an occult-science theme to necromancy.
The role (if any) that the rift entities may play, falls under the showâs cafeteria approach to cosmic horror so thereâs that too.

Voltron LD spoiler?
Okay, guys, I think Haggar is spying on Lotor through Shiro. Both times that she was watching him, Shiro was in the room, and at the right angle. I donât know what implications this causes, but... Iâm pretty sure itâs a thing.Â
Also, I hate fake Shiroâs little hair tuft - bring back real Shiro with the long forelock! ;P
So anyways...
