My progress so far forging. I have gotten them down to shape and have the ruler/tape measure there for size reference. I love being able to watch these come to life from starting from raw steel, going through fire and raw power of my hammer, to grinding to shape. Tomorrow, I will bevel the edges and prep them for heat treatment. I did have 4 of the Viking kitchen knives, but a small issue of a hidden crack (my fault) made itself known.
