After being cooped up with sick babies for 2 weeks it was a really nice treat to get out and teach yesterday. And these guys did a great job. I love seeing students make hooks! I especially enjoy watching the improvement from the first to the second. After much bullying from @cjdufton I've started forging a handle out of old rebar for my coal forge shovel. I had been just using a garden shovel. I've made up the shovel pan i just need to rivet it on. #anvil #forge #coalforge #handleit #makestuff #bladesmithing
