Mother and kit: Ferncloud, Spiderkit and Shrewkit

Ferncloud's among the best mothers in Warriors, no doubt about that. Poor mama had to go through so much and was incredibly screwed over by the writing and fandom... She deserved much more than she ever got and I stand by that.

Father and kit: Birchfall, Dovekit and Ivykit

Mostly headcanon based...... save me favorite character headcanons....save meeeee..... In all seriousness, there aren't many father and kit relationships I care about because the books barley care :/ Even those who arguably should be in their children's lives barley interact with them. You're telling me that Birchfall was so excited to be a father, which was shown in multiple scenes in Sunrise, only to hardly show him interacting with his children when they are kits/apprentices, to the point people forgot he was the father? Excuse me while I go scream in a corner >x/

Grandparent and kit: Sandstorm, Alderkit and Sparkkit

One that hasn't changed! Now including a Sparkkit because she should have had a relationship with her grandma too :/ The relationship Sandstorm and Alderheart have hits really close to home because it reminds me of the relationship I had my late grandmother.

Siblings: Leafpool and Squirrelstar

Another one that hasn't changed because truthfully there is no completion to be held. There are so many sibling relationships that I adore (The Three, The DustFern kids, Alderheart and Sparkpelt to name a few) but none of them hold a candle to Leafp and Squilf. Love how they held together through thick and thin, no matter how hard the stakes against them were.

Friendship: Jayfeather and Briarlight

To be clear, I still enjoy the JayBriar ship, just not as much as I used too. I also like to view them as a QPR these days as well. I've bumped them over to friendship because I love their friendship in the books and honestly? I'm really glad and have come to appreciate that that's all they are. They're just such a fun dynamic in general.

Mentor and Apprentice: Whitewing and Icepaw

I also don't really care for mentor's and apprentice's relationships in the books... because the books don't care either. BUT! I always I really enjoyed the detail that Firestar apprenticed Icepaw to Whitewing because of their white fur. So this is again mostly headcanon based but I really like the idea that they were really close, even after Icecloud's warrior ceremony. ^^ (Also love the idea that Ice teased White about her relationship with Birch, lol)

Gay Ship: Ravenpaw X Barley

I really liked Ravenpaw's Farewell :') It hit me right in the feels and a great way to close of both Ravenpaw's and Barley's character arcs. Also by the time I'm coming around to posting this they've become canon! Congrats RavenBarley ^^

Straight Ship (so say the books..): Whitewing X Birchfall

MY BLORBOSSSS!!!!! Yeah this should not come as a surprise for those who regularly see my stuff. I love their characters AND relationship to bits and pieces. hxghfxygsgdhf- anyways small headcanon Birchfall is the only cat that can make her laugh
