do you know what the age difference between ferncloud and daisy is? have you got anything in your rewrite for ferndaisy?
adding onto that, im not sure what the age difference between daisy and ferncloud's chud son spiderleg is
Daisy has no canon age, (other than being vaguely “an adult” when she first appears) so she can really be whatever you want/need her to be for your ship idea. Presumably she’s on the younger side in her first appearance considering she’s still alive in CS
In WCSR, she’s about 6 moons younger than Sorreltail, and just about 2 years old when she joins thunderclan. This makes her about 7 moons older than Spiderleg, and a little under 2 years younger than ferncloud.
Spiderleg and Daisy are 30 and 37 moons respectively when Toadkit and Rosekit are born
FernDaisy isn’t really a thing in WCSR. Mainly due to Daisy's brief fling with Spiderleg, i imagine Ferncloud fully embraces seeing Daisy as a bit of a daughter-in-law despite her relationship with Spiderleg not being a lasting one.
However CodyFern IS a thing! Ferncloud is polyamorous and bisexual. When Cody takes refuge in ThunderClan's camp, she and Ferncloud grow a pretty deep affection for each other. Dustpelt is aware of this and he isn't romantically involved with Cody (he is demisexual and never quite forms that type of feeling for her) he is still good friends with her, and grateful for the help she provides with the kits. It's a very teary goodbye when the clans depart the forest territories... Cody would rather stay behind to be with her littermate (Hattie!), because ever since their grandfather (who might be a kooky old cat you're familiar with) wandered away, the two of them haven't wanted to be alone.
Birchfall grows up really missing his second mama, though :(
