The snow storm would be pretty interesting because it would force everyone to stay inside but it would also be a great danger to Prowl because the complex is freaking old and not suited for very low temperatures.

(The real reason is the cuddles. The cuddles of desperation. The "Let me keep you warm" cuddles.)

(Oh and also all the Autobots being really busy trying to maintain the building from collapsing because the snow is slowly swallowing everything.)

......okay okay uh. This is probably gonna sound stupid and kinda in the spirit of G1 logic and feel free to pretend I didn't suggest it. BUT. Manually controlling weather is a pretty popular supervillain ability. I can imagine Decepticon scientists inventing it. What IF. They invent the way to "summon" the super heavy deadly snow storm and then also invent the way to sorta..aim it. With some kind of device.

So. Hear me out. Jazz goes on a mission and gets caught but pretty quickly escapes. The thing is - Con scientists get the creative idea. They're like WAIT. We can turn this human into the aiming device! We just gotta find a way to make it reeeeeally hard to find and even harder to extract. So when the guy comes back to his secret base - bam. The deadly storm follows him and destroys all their infrastructure and possibly buries them alive.

So then we could have

Jazz who is suffering from unknown weird poison and no one knows that the poison in question is some sort of nano bots that his body is rejecting. While also kinda..freezing.

The Autobots trying their best to work as a team to stop their base from collapsing under the unrealistically heavy snow

Prowl being glued to Jazz side because holy shit his most precious human is freaking dying and no one even can clearly determine why. Because their super advanced tech fucking broke from freezing

yeah this is honestly part of why i ignore canon so much regarding the sentry serum the thought of this breaks my heart 😭💔 it's not just john either, it's all everyone bob loves. forever. if he doesn't age he has to watch all of them die and go through an infinite amount of suffering over and over. and the worst part is that they probably don't know that bob doesn't age! it probably doesn't even occur to them for a few years until they get gray hairs and wrinkles and bob realizes he hasn't.

what hurts even more is that i don't even know what bob would do! i feel like after everything he doesn't have it in him to watch everyone die. so what would he do? my instinct says he would break up with john and isolate. he thinks john deserves someone who will grow old with him and he knows it will destroy him to watch john wither away. i don't think it would just be for john and the thunderbolts either. i could really see bob refusing to get attached to anyone and never loving again and his mental health tanking again because of it. but he can't die so he's just in this perpetual hell of suffering. ugh. yeah. this may be the point where the angst is too angsty even for me. help. i need my angst to have a happy ending and this just Doesn't. crying.

but mostly like i said i know it annoys some people but i just choose to ignore it. kind of a tangent here just because i haven't talked about my ideas on bob's powers clearly before but basically we haven't been given hard rules for bob's powers in the mcu so i just do what i want. for example canonically he seems to be 100% invulnerable but i really like the idea that he's 99.99% invulnerable but he is capable of hurting himself. in the comics he doesn't need to eat but in the post-credits scene we see bob with fries so i like to imagine that he does. drugs/alcohol most likely don't affect bob but i really love the angst that he thinks he's protected and he isn't so i imagine it that way (and it's meaningful to me that he chooses to stay clean and puts effort into it rather than just poof the serum "cured" his addiction forever).

one of the big reasons i love the idea of "flaws" in the serum (his own hands can hurt him / he can get high / he still ages / etc) is because the serum is so experimental. i know comic logic and movie logic are whatever but realistically this is a serum created by random scientists that valentina employed. it was NOT perfect or well made. hell it was bad enough that it killed everyone except bob!! so i really like the idea that on the surface bob looks like a mary sue but when you dig into it, he still has some vulnerabilities. things that really aren't bad but they are things valentina would have wanted ironed out in serum revisions.
