Still stuck in AU Alastor rehaul Hell.

I wasn’t happy with my initial design of him for VP, it didn’t exactly represent what I wanted in a meaningful way. So I decided to go from all black to all white to make him pop out of the crowd of hell in a more unsettling way.

In VoxPress Alastor is a sinner in Covenant with Rosie, with powers that grant him the ability to cause permanent damage and responsibility to execute Sinners and Overlords that become too disruptive. He carries that responsibility along with ashes of bodies that disintegrate when he consumes their hearts.

The only red accents I left are red neck band and African marigold on his jacket (a flower commonly used during funerals)

Sorry for the lack of activity, work burnout and health-related fatigue have been kicking my ass recently, but I’m slowly scraping back.

I also wanted to say thank you for people sending questions about my AU, I read and acknowledged all of them, but some might take a moment to respond because they include characters who’s visual I haven’t fully locked and I’d like to have a small sketch/illustration attached to reply. Still feel free to ask more 💙

In the meantime, have this sketch of AU Vox, I’m doing minor tweaks to his design, more specifically, giving him more cybernetic arms because his canon claws feel out of place with the AU concept. These are exploration sketches that I wanted to share.
