I thought a lot today about how i used to be, 2021 - 2024 ish. I keep doing this puppy to mutt comparison a lot in my head, but I was never good from the start, I realized. I just switched from obsession to......i want to say filth, but it really isnt. I would say apathy, but that would clash with the people pleasing. Numb sounds too basic. But if anything, I am masking more than ever, so that would have me more "clean." Ive been back to fulltime people pleasing for months now, just online. Sense of self has disappeared, though on purpose. My intention is surpressing, but it is much easier than it used to be. I wanted to hurt myself emotionally with it, but it is not happening. Perhaps something I could try and capture in a song or two... shrugs
