Ginny Weasley volunteers in the corrupt prison in the hopes of improving the conditions of the prisoners, most of those wrongfully put there. She finds a new arrival, a man in the middle of his rut and so she helps him out, against her better judgement. It sets many things in motion, the guards grow more suspicious of her and her rutty prisoner, Harry, needs to be broken out mid-rut. What could go wrong?

Chapter 3: Breakout

 Harry groaned as he moved his body out of the position it had been for the majority of the last three days. “Are you crazy?” He rose to his full height.

“Yes, I thought we established that.” She locked eyes with him. “Now, do you want to get out of here or get hanged instead?”

He breathed in her scent and he hissed, teeth clenching.

“I need you to focus,” she told him firmly. “I’ll take care of your rut when we get out of here but we need to get out of here safely.”

He leaned away and locked eyes with her once again. His breathing had picked up, his cheeks flushed and pupils dilated.

“Was I your first kiss?” she asked him.

“Who would I have kissed?” he mumbled. “You’re my first everything.”

She leaned her head against the door. “You’re most of my firsts.”

“First time breaking someone out of prison, was it?” he joked. His lips found her jaw.

She wondered if her reply was going to fall on deaf ears as his focus seemed to have shifted. “It was,” she confirmed as his tongue found her pulse point. She tilted her head to the side to give him better access to her neck. “I want to be your only everything.”

Ahhh, I’m SO, SO sorry I haven’t been able to update as frequently lately 🫠

My personal life has been an absolute mess. I’ve been working on the next chapter for a few days now, and it will probably be up on Sunday. I’m gonna do everything I can to make that happen! Promise!

My goal is to finish the fic within the next two weeks. That’s the plan, at least… but, y’know, things are complicated…

My depression has been hitting me pretty hard these past few weeks, and unfortunately I haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to writing the chapters as I’d like. And because I really want to do this properly, and my self-criticism is… uh, a lot… I want to make sure I finish this story with the same care and effort I’ve put into every chapter so far.

So I just ask for a little bit of patience. ❤️ And I’m really happy you reached out and asked!
