the trump presidency scares me but not as much as his vp scares me or that there are people who fully support him. last night I was hoping he'd be impeached but giving his vp more power isn't what we want, so I can only hope that trump won't do something dumb enough to get impeached. I know people are still frightened because of the power trump now has, but you have to remember that he's not a supreme being, and that checks in balances will keep him in place. all we can do now is vote in local elections I'm absolutely terrified that there are people who support him. at first reading the tumblr posts about how terrible some people in this country are didn't impact me, up until I talked to a girl this morning. when I asked her what she thought about the election, she said Hillary deserved to be in jail, and I pointed out that maybe that's true, however trump has done worse things, like rape. she then mumbled how Hillary was worse. I'm in shock .. how can you actually think that child rape is okay? how can you think that giving someone who has no political experience, and gets angry too quickly the position is okay? at first I told her she was dead to me jokingly, but now that I've thought it through, I can't understand how fucked up people who support trump's morals are.
