A man without a name, having dedicated his life to the guidance of others. Many would call it a sad existence but he was content with it. The man simply known asΒ βMentorβ found himself late at night at the bar. Most of the patrons had already headed out, his pupil on an assignment with her partner, it left him to do just as he pleased, having a drink. Elbows rested on the bar, the half-empty glass being toyed with a little bit. It wasnβt his first but also not enough to have a noticeable effect on him.Β
After a while heβd look over, watching the man at the other end of the bar, the only other customer at this hour.Β βYoung soul, you seem troubled. Is everything well?β He had a hard time minding his business and while it could lead to some unpleasant first encounters, in the end it was better than to not reach out.
