Sims 3: Buy and Build Hiders

I've created this new post as a one stop blog post for my Buy and Build hiders (renamed from Object Hiders) I've made over the years. It includes every EP, and almost every SP. Only Movie Stuff is missing as I don't own it.

Aside from this just being a new post, I've also updated all of my hiders to include terrain paints, walls, and floors.

Please Read Before Downloading:

These will hide items from showing in the buy/build/buy debug catalog. You can still find them in Collections. BG doesn’t have a Collection. These do not remove any items from in game, and will still show up as normal if they’ve already been placed in game or if they come with a lot, etc.

I strongly suggest choosing wisely when it comes to what you want to hide, as hiding everything can be problematic. An example would be all Beds being hidden from the catalog.

These come with their thumbnail pictures where available to make it easier to pick and choose what to keep.

I would put these in your overrides folder, but they should still work if you don’t as long as you don't have any conflicting cc.

They will potentially conflict with other default replacements, depending on whether or not they change any values in their OBJD/CFIR/CFEN/CRMT/CTPT/CWAL.

Only thing I don’t like so far is how edgy Eren is and how she’s gatekeeping art? “Oh you wanna be a designer? Name every one” like what 😭 I hope they develop her soon because it’s kind of hard to watch her rn. Design wise, she reminds me of Vivy and Eve from Birdie Wing funny enough. Really cute, awful personality. Supposedly this is an adult cast show so I’m guessing there’ll be a timeskip in the next couple episodes? It’ll be interesting to see what became of everyone as they grow up. Solid start and hearing Basquiat name dropped in an anime is wild.

I made a bunch of world deco replacements and hiders for Moonwood Mill. Clean up the world of junk, or turn it into a quaint cottage town. Now, the choice is yours.

hides various things in build + buy mode, so they won't come up in the catalogue even if you search for them. i'm sure we're all tired of seeing those big jazz paintings and 2-poly chairs.

i didn't include every single thing, only things i myself find hideous and offensive to the eye, so it's likely the things you don't like are in this download.

some packages might be in the wrong folder because the 'storage' category has always confounded me for some reason.

i won't touch anything starbearysims has already done, so you can use both.

some items have the exact same name, so don't delete things like "drafting table2" because that's not an error.

if someone else has already done this and i just couldn't find it, don't tell me. this took me hours.

Well this turned out significantly longer than I anticipated 😂 I did notice that those hiders weren’t working anymore for some reason, but figured it was just my game being pissy, so I left them up and went through ALL sim CAS items again to reorganize them (it was long overdue anyway). This is what I’ll be posting here. It’s a long-ass post, so check under the cut for details.

This applies for all EPs minus ITF, and for HELS. Also I did not initially mean to share these, so only the hairs have previews (because I gave them custom thumbnails). All of them are default replacements, meaning you need to have the EPs/SP for them to do anything. You can put them in any folder you want, as long as it’s under Mods\Packages.
