Another week being the only Hell mode fan on this app and talking to the void, but idc, the show’s getting better and better, even if the animation’s still awful 😭
That said, you knew things were going a bit too well with the dungeon clearing and they’d have to face a challenge soon which it looks like they’ve finally found in the A rank dungeon being separated! Hopefully Allen and the others can get there in time to help because no way Cecile and buddy can take that monster by themselves!
More importantly, we’re finally starting to get some crumbs about who’s pulling the strings behind the scenes. The royal messenger who lied to Keel is definitely working for someone, but who?? Hopefully we see Granvelle getting those answers next week
Hidden gem of the season contender for sure it’s sad this show not getting much attention, what a great job Lay-Duce are doing here.
Wonderfully directed scene to showcase the regret Teshina-sensei has from her own life, it’s understandable she don’t want the girls to go through life with manga being their only goal and dealing with the rejection from publishers and family that she did, BUT that’s life and anything worth having is going to be a struggle. Yes, it’ll be difficult, but that just makes the end result even sweeter. Even if it doesn’t turn out well, you’ll never know unless you try and you’ll always regret what you don’t do in life more than the things you do.
I also love the parallels between Kokoro and Ai meeting and Teshina-sensei meeting her editor! They both met the perfect person at the perfect time, sometimes you just need ONE person to believe in and compliment what you’re trying to do. It’s even more beautiful when you consider the meaning of Ai and Kokoro’s names, you can’t love without a heart. Kokoro quite literally completes Ai’s dream of being a mangaka 🥹

My extrovert x introvert yuri is HERE 😭 even their names, Ai(love) and Kokoro(heart) hint at them being inseparable soulmates.
I LOVE how they depicted Kokoro joining the manga club as her finally swimming out of the deep of the ocean because she’d been drowning and isolated her entire life by not following her true passion and committing to manga full time. The direction in this show is so top notch and deserves more attention!!

“Because I’m so happy that I have a big sister now” 🥹 this might go on to be my fave step sibling story. I love the Narita family so much already. Rui, Gen and the others have been waiting for someone like Ito their entire lives.
I also love how Rui genuinely acts like a normal kid his age and because kids can’t help but be honest, you really see how desperately he’s been searching for a mother figure since his mom died when he was very young.
Really warming up to the eventual romance here between Ito and Gen, especially after we learned how Gen has compartmentalized so much trauma and tried to be the rock of the family after his mother’s death. He’s the ideal big brother, but he needs to start being selfish and doing the things he wants to do as well, which I’m sure we’ll be a big part of this story.
Before he can ever confesses she’s gonna go Ito, he’ll have to learn to be honest with his feelings to himself. The two of them actually have so much in common because they have self destructive tendencies in terms of the lengths they’ll go to help others. Two very beautiful kindred souls.
You can’t help but feel horrible for Granville here as he’s entrusting humanity’s future to the man who we literally just saw rip thru his granddaughter’s chest with his bare hands and kill her. The fact Yuki is able to play along so well like he was totally innocent just shows how evil and calculating he is. Literally the WORST person to form a united front with and tell about luminus’ secret.
