Ride on. Many of you know of local legend and Hermosa Beach fixture Jon Burt, better known as “Turkey John.” A few years ago I made the first of my graphic prints for the “Hey Turkey Day” art show organized by @wearem1sk, so naturally I included Turkey John’s bike in the scenes. As the collection grows, I try to include his bike in other scenes as a tribute. Yesterday, we lost Turkey John. I hope he’s getting a lot of good rides and swim partners today.
