Even though there are Gods and Goddesses associated with the moon, it doesn’t mean that the Moon as a physical thing is a deity because it isn’t. Looking at it with atheist eyes,it’s just a floating rock in space. Not everybody is Pagan so of course not everybody is going to see the Moon as a deity. Some do and some don’t.
But apparently if you use magic to cause an earthquake on the moon, it somehow means it’s an act of war against the moon Gods even though you aren’t aiming at them whatsoever, just the satellite.
That’s like trying to say that if I caused an earthquake on Earth it means I’m ‘hexing’ Gaia and I should be punished. If Jesus’ blood is wine and I wanted to put somebody under a love spell and I managed to make the potion from wine, am I hurting Jesus?
It’s not like I’m hexing deities here, if I wanted to I’d just do it. But no, I’m aiming my spells at the moon.
I’m only cracking the moon to prove several points.
No rule of three or karma backlash is going to come after you if you crack the moon open and that it is possible to use magic to effect the Moon. Its aura isn’t going to prevent you from causing an earthquake to give it a scar on its surface. And as for the karmic backlash that’s supposed to come from this, I’m still alive and my life is great. I’ve started this experiment a few months ago and literally nothing changed.
Even though I had always said I was ‘hexing the moon’, in truth, I use the term ‘hex’ for attention. I want people to yell at me and threaten to hex me over a space rock and so far, people did respond with something along the lines of ‘’You’re fucked, the moon’s going to kick your ass’’ but no hex threats yet.
