Venus Breaks The Glass Ceiling
Or Love Goddesses in STEM
After arguing with myself in my own head for a bit on Venus's associations I decided to release my uncommon planetary associations to the world. But first, there needs to be some context.
There's this thing in Occultism/witchcraft that says that each planet has its own group of associations and virtues. Combine all of their powers and the Earth is supposedly formed due to the ''As above so below.'' rule because the planets and the zodiac influence all of existence down here. All planets correspond with parts of the Godmind and influences Earth, the material realm. Here's problem though, I found that a lot of planets and other space objects have overlapping qualities. I've managed to connect Saturn to the Sun,Mercury,Jupiter,the Moon,Mars...pretty much all planet can be connected to another planet in some form or another though some ideas need to be pondered over. But this isn't about Saturn today I'm going to convince you to consider Venus's possible hidden aspects,some very surprising.
Classic beginner books only seem to mention Venus's Love and Beauty aspects with maybe a sprinkle of friendship and Divine Feminine inside it. Its favorite colors would be pink or green. Its uncommonly mentioned associations would be that it rules over art,music and pleasure and food. Pleasure obviously means sex but not necessary just that. Another uncommon association is that it has some influence over nature.
Let's connect some planets to Venus. Increasing generation, multiplying children? Jupiter is about expanding and the moon is associated with children so they all have some fertility aspects including Jupiter. Venus also has some healing powers. Sun,Mercury,Moon, Mars (rules surgery),Saturn (''You should also wear a black cap of the sort that doctors wear:picatrix) Jupiter (''When Jupiter is lord of the solar year, in that year there will be few illnesses and much health''Hippocrates) Also is associated with Luck. Jupiter,Saturn (It's literally the Jewish Weekend planet.)Moon,Sun (''he increases the appetite for amassing wealth, and for people to desire good things''Pixatrix) and if you squint hard enough, Mars because it rules over victory therefore victory over your endeavors. How would the universe make it so you're victorious in your endeavors? By increasing your chances of the thing happening and synchronicities that help you. Boom,luck.
But here is where it gets weird. Powers of Attraction. Attract what? Manifestation. Magic. Moon and Mercury. Preparing poisons and powders that cause madness? (Key of Solomon) Mercury,Saturn and the Moon. And I'm only naming the obvious planets to save room. In Aztec mythology sourcing from wikipedia, Quetzalcoatl is associated with it.

By definition, whatever those deities are associated with means that Venus has those traits as well. Venus has some more secret Mercury and Saturn aspects attached to it but the reason we don't hear about those are because the fucking Spanish people invaded Mexico, killed off the Aztecs and if anything, some Christian Occultists slapped Western spirituality and Mother Mary onto Venus and called it a day while forgetting its other qualities.
But wait,here's more. Some people think that ''God'' is made out of pure love and by its logical extension, all pure magic is made out of love... If Venus rules over Love then it rules over all magic. And if a planet rules over one thing, it should have knowledge over that thing, therefore Venus has knowledge over ALL magic if magic is Gods'/Universal love given form. Even better, Venus rules over marriage and children. What is the Alchemical Marriage?
The ''marriage'' of between two opposing forces, Masculine/feminine, conscious/subconscious, light/dark ,sun/moon, person/God and in Alchemy if you do it right, you produce the Philosopher's stone. The Philosophers stone is sometimes referred to as the so-called Divine Child. Lead into Gold. Jewelry. Add all the stuff that Gold and the Philosophers Stone represents onto Venus. Also in the Kabbalah, Venus sits in the Sefirah Netzach (victory)
So anyway, Venus can actually be a secret Mercury-like planet if you really think about it but all anyone wants to do is attach it to boring beauty-love magic in their books. Venus wants to get into STEM but you won't let her.
