Suzanne Treister created Hexen 2.0 as an amalgamation of materials, some of which are abstracted which "offers a space where one may use the works as a tool to envision possible alternative futures."
Whilst currently my practice does not focus upon political or technological change the idea of creating a space in which people are able to envision different and alternative futures for characters or themselves is appealing. It feels honest because there are the bare bones of familiarity and fact but hexes 2.0 is also deceptive and confusing and it needs to be because it makes you think.
