So I recently have come to the realization that I'm not completely straight; I'm heterosexual flexible. I'm still getting comfortable with the idea of it, but I've mostly come to terms with it. My fiancé (a heterosexual cis-male) is super supportive, along with all of my friends. I'm really lucky to be surrounded by such awesome people. But I haven't told my family. I could tell them. The idea is nerve- wracking, but not terrifying. I know they hold nothing against gay people and are generally socially progressive people, but they are politically conservative and religiously Christian. The LGBTQ+ movement is completely outside of their sphere, and that's fine. I don't really see a point in telling them, as I'm already engaged and very happy with my current relationship. BUT... I'm now on a 2.5 week trip to Sweden and Norway with only my mom and my grandma, and I REALLY want to sneak away, find a cute queer girl, and kiss her. My fiancé is fine with me kissing girls, and I'd really like to try it. And every time air see a cute girl walk by, I want to comment and have to sort of hold my tongue because I don't feel like explaining to my adorable and sweet 84-year-old grandmother that no I don't mean her shoes I mean she looks like a good kisser. /end rant
